for its clarity, depth (to 250 feet) and water temperature,

Smallmouth, largemouth, spotted bass, trout, crappie, catfish,
bream, white bass, and walleye abound in Bull Shoals Lake.
Fishing season is year-round, all 365 days. You may rent
all the lake gear you need, or bring your own.

Shoals Lake’s shoreline is protected from over
development by a “government strip” perimeter.
This area is
also open to recreation such as hunting, hiking, and bird
watching, subject to regulations of the U.S. Army Corps

Staying
out of the water?
How does a long, long range view of the area sound? You
may at the Top O’ The Ozarks Tower - take an elevator
and view over a million acres. You may go underground at
Bull Shoals Caverns. You may go back in time at the park-like
Mountain Village 1890, with its authentic turn-of-the-last-century
buildings all moved to this site from nearby communities.
Golfers may play at Rivercliff Golf Course overlooking the
White River in Bull Shoals. Visit the Bull Shoals Museum
April-October. There may be a concert or play at the Bull
Shoals Theater of the Arts (870-445-2311).
