Fred Berry Crooked Creek CEC Established
Take a left turn off Hwy. 412/62 just north of Yellville. If Crooked Creek is not running too high at Kelly’s Access - and it’s a weekday – visit the Fred Berry Conservation Education Center on Crooked Creek, new in 2005. Mr. Berry, a retired teacher, donated the land to Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and Foundation to build the center. The site lies in a 2.75 mile “crook” of Crooked Creek and includes 421 acres.
