Start near Yellville to
take a scenic route toward
the family musical entertainment capital of America
- Branson, Missouri. From the South Shore, the music
and comedy theaters of Branson are an easy day trip.
From Yellville, take Hwy. 62/412
about four miles west to where it meets Arkansas Hwy.
125, then turn right and head north until the road
meets Arkansas Hwy. 14.
To cross Bull Shoals Lake
on the last remaining free automobile ferry boat in
the state, proceed north on Hwy. 125 to the lakeshore
and to Hwy.
125 Park at Peel. The ferry boat operates from
dawn until dusk and the trip takes about 10 minutes
to cross the lake.
