South Shore Foundation

South Shore Foundation is a nonprofit, charitable organization working to enhance the quality of life in the South Shore - Bull Shoals - Arkansas region.

Chartered in late 1996, South Shore Foundation is funded by the Northern Arkansas Telephone Company, a family-owned company located in Flippin, Arkansas, which provides telecommunications services to an area containing 658 square miles in Marion and Boone counties in Arkansas and in extreme southwest Missouri.

South Shore Foundation awards scholarships for academic achievers in each area school district and promotes education for all ages. The Foundation values the natural environment as a basis for the South Shore way of life and believes telecommunications can be employed to advance economic opportunity and community betterment.
