New
South Shore Portal Page Available to All Internet Users
July 2004
| NATCO
Technologies is providing a new local portal page for Internet
users anywhere who wish to have local South Shore area information
like news, weather, lake levels, and movie listings at their
fingertips along with personal links each user may create. The
South Shore area includes communities located near the south
shore of Bull Shoals Lake in the northern Arkansas counties
of Marion, Baxter, and Boone. |

"We have
received great feedback from our own customers who made the new
South Shore Portal Page their home page," said Steven Sanders
Jr., vice president of NATCO, the parent company of NATCO Technologies.
"If you’ve
seen the various national portal pages but find they don’t
contain the information you’d choose to see each time you
begin using the Internet, you can make your own now with the South
Shore Portal Page," said NATCO Tech Internet Services Supervisor
Larry May.
Internet users
may set up their local portal page by going to My.SouthShore.com.
There, they
will be asked for an e-mail address and prompted to choose a password
so they can customize their portal page. Many use headline news
from the Twin Lakes area and beyond, local weather, Mountain Home
and Harrison movie listings, and local lake levels. They can add
access to their NATCO
Web mail and extra services like a horoscope, stock quotes, the
NATCO Technologies tip of the week, a link to Amazon.com, and even
a customized list of links that the user chooses.
NATCO Technologies
also provides Internet users an easy way to make the South Shore
portal page their home page. "Then, the information you need
is delivered to you right away every time you log on the Internet,"
said May.
